FIND YOUR FLOW

At Yogilu classes are designed to suit all abilities, with options and adjustments always available to suit your needs. The vision behind Yogilu was to create a safe space with no judgement on ourselves or others, breathing into what feels good for the body, rather than focussing on reaching that perfect asana (pose). ​

You will be guided through a sequence, but you will always be welcome to adapt to what your body needs on the particular day. Just because you can do it, doesn't always mean you should!

​Some classes are slower paced with a guided meditation included, whereas others are more powerful - please check out the descriptions below to gain an understanding about which class is right for you. And remember, styles can vary, so do try out different classes until you find the right fit.

HATHA YOGA

Slower than Vinyasa, Hatha Yoga allows you to go deeper into postures, with meditative breathing, helping to calm the mind while building strength.

With more time between asanas (poses) Hatha gives the opportunity to really delve into a pose, allowing more time for verbal and physical adjustments.

 

Using the same flow style as Vinyasa, poses are held for slightly longer giving you time to master that balancing asana and really focus your mind away from busy day to day life.

All levels welcome.

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa translated means "to arrange something in a special way." Vinyasa yoga places focus on flowing sequences that move through poses in a dynamic, athletic way.

 

Emphasis is placed on connecting breath and movement to propel you through the practice.

All levels are welcome, however, if you are brand new to yoga I would recommend starting with a Hatha class to give you more time to feel into the poses while still gaining strength.

HATHA FLOW & MEDITATION

This class begins with around 40 minutes of Hatha yoga, ending with a guided body scan and meditation (yoga nidra) to calm the nervous system and leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.

Let go of the stresses of the week and challenge yourself with compassion.

All levels welcome.

PRIVATE ONE-TO-ONE 

If you are looking to deepen your practice, you're a first time yogi, you have any particular injuries or limitations, or would simply prefer a solo class to a group one,

I offer private one-to-one or small private group sessions.

A one-to-one class is a great way to focus on particular areas tailored to you. For example, I can include breath work, meditation, anxiety-release, or help you achieve that particular posture you've been struggling with.

YOGA NIDRA

Yoga Nidra is a state of conscious relaxation that guides practitioners into a deep, meditative state while remaining fully aware. Often referred to as "yogic sleep," it allows the mind and body to rest and rejuvenate, promoting stress relief and emotional balance. You will be led through a body scan followed by a series of visualisations. This practice is beneficial for all levels and can help enhance overall well-being.
